Thomas is an exchange architect with a combined 30 years of experience across US and Asian Exchange and Regulatory frameworks, with a focus on the development of Exchange traded Cleared Futures and OTC products. His experience in exchange architecture and strategic development includes: West Texas Intermediate Petroleum Advisory Board, LPG product development and trading; Henry Hub Natural Gas contract, -Chairman Natural Gas Advisory, launched Henry Hub contract 1991, LNG, LPG product development and trading traded as market maker and was Ring Chairman; BitGold, early adopter of the platform for purchase and payments based on physical gold holdings.
Bill is a carbon market pioneer who has managed emerging market and high yield investments for more than 25 years and currently serves as director of Kuber Energy, a renewable energy and climate finance advisory company in Singapore. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Standard Bank. In this capacity he was the Global Head of Carbon origination and Finance, as well as a member of the board of Standard Merchant Bank Singapore. As the CEO and founding partner of Ecoinvest Carbon S.A., a joint venture company with Bunge S.A., he built what became one of the world’s largest aggregator of carbon credits. In his early career he was a bond trader at JP Morgan Chase (MHTCo.) in New York as well as a partner at Dartley a large Emerging Markets Fixed Income Fund. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics with a concentration in Mathematics from The College of Wooster, Ohio, and an MBA in International Management from ASU’s Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management.
Kevin has over 15 years of experience in the legal and banking sectors. With his unique background including senior legal as well as commodities banking roles, Kevin brings a wealth of experience in legal and regulatory matters, commodities and finance. Prior to joining ACX, Kevin ran the regional structured commodity finance business for Westpac, and before that was the Head of Legal for Singapore at Standard Bank where he provided primary legal support to the Carbon Origination and Finance business. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Dominic was the founder and CTO of the TradeHero mobile stock market trading app in Singapore in 2012, which closed its series A investment with KPCB China and IPV Capital in 2014, and its series B with Samsung Ventures and 500 Startups in 2016. He was a member of the executive committee of ayondo, an SGX-listed CFD broker, which acquired TradeHero in 2015, and currently acts as their blockchain advisor. Dominic also founded Scoop in 2018, a provider of cryptocurrency mining solutions, and he is leading the development of Scoop’s open-source web wallet supporting 26 different cryptocurrencies. He is a self-taught and life-long technologist with senior experience across financial and technology organizations such as Microsoft, Citibank, Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank.
Ingo has over 17 years of experience in the financial services and corporate sector, building and leading high-performance financial and operational functions. He has lived and worked in the EU, US, and Asia.
His extensive professional experience includes various senior management appointments such as the CFO of Vantage Capital Markets, a leading institutional broker, the Director of Finance at Winnington Capital, a Hong Kong based Asian alternative asset manager, and the Head of Finance, Commercial Markets Asia, at ABN Amro Bank.
Ingo holds a doctorandus degree from the University of Maastricht, an International Executive Master of Finance and Control, and he is a Register Controler (RC) charterholder.
Lieven has spent over 30 years as a strategy and management consultant in the market infrastructure world with a focus on exchanges, clearing houses and depositories. This experience has given him in-depth expertise in risk management, operating such institutions and the regulatory and business environment in which they operate.
Working for organisations, like IBM global services and Capco Consulting, of which he was a founding partner, has given him a global exposure.
Lieven’s expertise led him to build a commodity futures exchange with responsibility for risk, operations and technology followed by designing a clearing house for the exchange. Recently he was leading a team that introduced real-time portfolio risk management and the supporting system for a large commodities exchange.
Tim is an experienced financial and commodities market professional, having begun his career with a number of senior trading positions including with Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. Following this, Tim held a senior position at the Financial Conduct Authority to oversee the regulation of Derivative Exchanges in the UK, and most recently worked for the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Abu Dhabi Global Market to supervise market infrastructures including Recognised Investment Exchanges, as well as virtual asset trading platforms and custodians. At the FSRA, Tim also established the first regulatory framework globally that governs carbon credits/ offsets as financial instruments, and which provides licenses for Exchanges to operate spot and derivative markets in these.
Tim also holds a Masters degree in Business Management from Warwick Business School, is a Trustee of a charity for displaced people and is an advisory board member
James is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in the derivatives, banking, and blockchain industries. He held various leadership roles while at Société Générale in London, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In these positions, he established and directed large regional and global Operations teams specializing in high volume Financial and Commodity Futures & Options flows. Notably, James transformed the global treatment of the company’s brokerage, commission, fee, interest and static data processing. He was eventually appointed the CEO of SG Securities, a prominent clearing member of the Singapore Exchange (SGX). During his tenure, he successfully navigated the complex regulatory landscape and expanded the company’s market share. More recently, James served as the CEO of the Singapore entity of Hex Trust, a digital custodian licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Hum Wei Mei is concurrently, Head of Asia Pacific and Head of Carbon & Environmental Products in ACX.
She is responsible for advancing ACX’s business interests in the Asia Pacific Region, product structuring and development. She acts as an In-House consultant and helps to ensure that ACX’s processes, market rules & guidance, are aligned to international best practices. She represents ACX on several industry led Task Forces and Committees.
Prior to her appointment at ACX, Wei Mei spent over 6 years working on Climate Change related matters within the Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore (National Climate Change Secretariat, Strategy Group). Her main areas of focus were GHG accounting, Climate Risk, Carbon Markets and Carbon Trading. She also helped to articulate Singapore’s Climate Change policies at various local and international fora, including those hosted by the World Bank and UNFCCC.
Other positions, she has held include Deputy Director for Regulatory Affairs at one of Southeast Asia’s largest utilities, Principal Analyst in Singapore’s electricity and natural gas market regulator and Investment Banker in the Corporate Finance division of a European Bank.
Her international experience includes postings to China, selected ASEAN countries, and the United States. She has a Master’s Degree from Yale University and graduated with a BSc. in Economics (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Minnesota, where she was the 10th recipient of the Winnifred Fable & George F. Stockman Scholarship in Economics. She also spent a stint in the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis as a Visiting Scholar.
Bringing together years of experience and expertise in capital markets, particularly derivatives and structured products, crypto/blockchain, SaaS, technology outsourcing, financial regulations, and ESG, Melody is dedicated to shaping the future of FMIs in the carbon space. With a strong background in working with startup founders and NGOs, Melody excels in developing innovative business models, providing strategic advisory services, and successfully navigating complex regulatory environments. Notably, she has led ESG materiality assessments and played a key role in establishing an ESG committee for a prominent HK-listed company.
Serene Lim-Allison has over two decades of experience as an integrated marketing leader, managing P&Ls via execution of a full range of activities including content, digital programming, events and campaigns across APAC, Middle-East, UK and the US. Prior to joining ACX, she was with GLG, a global information services platform, and before that she was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Nomura and the Financial Times.
Rishi is Head of Market Surveillance at ACX and is also working for Compliance.
He is a Financial Market professional. His career embarked with an audit firm, subsequently he got associated with SEBI, NCDEX, TCS, BSE and DGCX. While consulting through TCS he was associated with the likes of Clearing Corporation of India (CCIL), Saudi American Bank, Morgan Stanley, EY, etc.
Over a period, he has developed expertise in the functional areas like Surveillance, Investigation, Trading operations, Risk management, Regulatory Compliance, Clearing and Settlement, Internal control, Business analysis and Assurance, Project management etc.
Rishi is a Chartered Accountant from India and holds bachelor’s degree in commerce.
Esam has over 16 years of deep technical knowledge and experience in information technology and financial technologies. He has built and lead technical development teams in the MENA region for over 10 years. He brings to the ACX Team both technical and management skills necessary to expand the ACX Tech Team.
Henri has more than 30 years experience in physical commodity trading and spent the last 15 years focused on the development of the biofuels trade working for prestigious employers like Continental Grain Co, Pepsi-Cola, Vertical/Shell Oil JV called Raizen, Trafigura and more recently Idemitsu Kosan in Singapore. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS in economics from Arizona State University.

Elena has over 19 years of experience in the asset management and investment servicing sectors. She has an extensive track record in Operations and Change, with a focus on building and leading high performance operational teams. Prior to joining AirCarbon, Elena ran the Operations team and the Global Finance team of Aegon Asset Management in the Netherlands. Before that she was the Head of Middle Office Derivatives for State Street and Head of Middle Office for Société Générale Alternative Investments in France. Elena holds a Master degree from the Sorbonne University in Paris and is also a certified Prince2 Agile practitioner.
Mansi is an experienced capital markets professional with 16 years in a variety of key roles at Nasdaq Dubai, the international stock exchange serving the Middle East. She oversaw the onboarding of leading international and regional brokers as Members and Market Makers of the exchange and managed the exchange’s relationships with them to ensure their active participation in the trading environment.
She is also a specialist in debt listings and onboarded Issuers to help build Nasdaq Dubai into a leading regional debt listing centre and one of the largest exchanges in the world for Sukuk (Islamic bonds) by listed value. As well as arranging specialist technical training for market participants across a range of markets activities and supporting the exchange’s communications and marketing outreach, she also managed relationship with market data vendors.
Noran is an HR leader that is passionate about partnering with senior management and executives to establish and continuously improve a great employee experience. Her experience spans from talent management to strong HR generalist, leadership & coaching roles resulted in holding a diverse regional 15+ years of experience in different industries across MEA countries & have always proven to be a successful key member.
Noran holds a masters degree in Strategic leadership and her bachelors was in Human Resources Management. In addition Noran is certified in several areas in HR including Performance management, compensation and benefits and L&D.
Andrew has spent over 14 years in the finance industry and will leverage his extensive experience to further establish ACX in the market. Prior to joining ACX, Andrew was the Director of APAC Licensing & Exchange Relationships at S&P Global Platts where he was responsible for establishing Platts’ Asian Exchange strategy and managing and directing Platts’ business development and licensing activities with existing and new exchange partners.
Crystal is an experienced corporate banking professional. Specialized in Commodities Trade finance, Transactional Banking, and in AML-KYC. She has built, managed, and maintain strong long-term relationships with corporate companies from various sectors and sizes. Crystal complements the team with her keen insight into corporate relationship management and operational procedures.
Zeenat is responsible for market research, client development and assisting with structuring carbon transactions at ACX. Before joining the team, Zeenat spent over a decade as an attorney in aviation and financial services. Most recently, Zeenat spent several years at the United States Department of Transportation working on regulatory, compliance and policy matters. Zeenat recently earned her Master’s in Law with a specialization in International Business from the National University of Singapore, holds a Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law and a BSc. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
Illia is a Full Stack Software Engineer with a diverse background in both backend and frontend development. He has a proven track record of leading cross functional teams and adeptly managing the complete development life cycle. Illia is fascinated by blockchain, investing, DeFi, combining regular and crypto financial worlds. Interested in data-intensive software architecture.
Antons is a blockchain developer experienced in creating Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and asset tokenization projects. Before joining the blockchain sphere, Antons has ben working as a full-stack developer. Additionally, Antons has a professional background in Finance field.
Antons has a Bachelors degree in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, particularly focusing on alternative financing field (https://www.sseriga.edu/tesliuk-anton), as well as recently obtained Masters degree in Computer Science in the field of Artificial Intelligence from the University of Herdfordshire.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a US Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with 10 years of accounting and finance experience from manufacturing, healthcare and pharmaceutical (Johnson & Johnson) ; software (OpenText) ; freezone government (ADGM) and electronic and cyber technologies (Digital14) industries . Currently serving as the president of all Filipino accountants and finance professionals in Abu Dhabi.

Charlotte joined the AirCarbon Exchange in 2022 and has over 8 years of administrative experience in Office Management. Charlotte coordinates the development and implementation of the company’s polices and procedures and effectively manages the administration function of the office.
Charlotte’s employment focuses on highly competitive and customer focused environments and includes customer service/ administrative roles and responsibilities within the airline, hotel, and engineering/ corporate business industries.
Charlotte was born and raised in Preston, Lancashire United Kingdom before moving to the in the UAE in 2009 to broaden her education and facilitate a rewarding career in the UAE.
Experienced professional with over 15+ years of diverse experience working with leading organisations in the UAE including DGCX, a reputed local UAE bank, a trusted money exchange, and a brokerage house. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce and a Diploma in E-Finance from leading educational institutions. Has also been recognised with awards for service excellence and innovative solutions.
Xavier has been with ACX for three years, focusing on expanding the company’s international exchange operations. He played a key role in the launch of Indonesia’s national carbon exchange (IDXCarbon) and has been instrumental in ongoing deployments with the Nairobi Stock Exchange, Athex Exchange in Greece, B3 in Brazil, and other initiatives yet to be publicly disclosed.
One of Xavier’s notable achievements was leading the project management for the SEAGRASS exchange platform, a subsidiary of the European energy utility EON, which licensed a customised version of ACX’s exchange technology. Additionally, Xavier managed the incorporation and submission of ACX India’s application to the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) in GIFT City, Gujarat, India.
Xavier’s contributions have been critical in ACX’s expansion into new markets, demonstrating his expertise in project management, the carbon markets and international finance. His work has facilitated the growth of sustainable and efficient trading platforms worldwide, significantly impacting global carbon trading and energy markets.
Ana Elena is an experienced Environment and Climate Change Consultant supporting the development of AirCarbon’s business in the Americas by engaging with carbon project developers in the region. Prior to joining the AirCarbon Team, she worked for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as an Environment and Climate Change Research Analyst for Latin America and the Caribbean. She also has experience working as a Paralegal, recently obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho (UELD) in Costa Rica. In addition, Ana Elena counts with a BSc. in Environmental Science and a Minor in Business Administration from Elon University in North Carolina.
Vishal began his career at SSNC GlobeOp as a fund accountant. He soon joined the Bombay Stock Exchange and gained experience in market surveillance and investigation. After working for the BSE Ltd. for over five years, he was posted at the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), where he dealt with a variety of issues pertaining to market manipulation and abuse. Later Vishal was employed by Ernst & Young in Forensic Investigations section, where he worked on projects including asset tracking, money laundering, and other related tasks. Prior to joining ACX, Vishal worked for Morgan Stanley in the Trade Surveillance and Compliance division.
Huynh has over 10 years of experience in software development. Before joining the AirCarbon team, Huynh lead project teams in technology startups from Vietnam, Thailand and Japan. He also worked as a freelance engineer for companies in Asia & Pacific, Europe and North America regions. He has 5 years of experience in sales/business development which includes 4 years working in the carbon market i.e. sourcing carbon credit and IREC projects. Apart from projects in India, he had successfully worked for Latin America projects as well.

Er. Edwin T.F. Khew PBM, has over 40 years of experience founding and managing environmental companies (water & waste water and waste to energy) operating in the Asia Pacific region. He is currently the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) and a Supervisory Board Member of Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS). Er. Khew represents SEAS on the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Energy for All Partnership’s (E4ALL) Steering Committee as its Co-Chair and Chairman of its Enterprise Development Working Group. He is also the Immediate past Chairman of the Singapore Standards Council, an Immediate Past President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), a past President of the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMF), a former board member of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), and a former Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP). He holds an Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore, a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, Singapore, Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore, Fellow and Chartered Engineer of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (UK), and a professional engineer and board member of the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore. Er. Khew was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) by the President of Singapore during Singapore’s National Day in 2014 and a UQ International Alumnus of the Year 2011.

Prakash is the founding member of RHTLaw Asia and RHT Group of Companies. He has over 20 years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary professional and specialist services, including MAS-regulated businesses across fund management, capital markets services, and a recognised market operator.
He has successfully led investments, deals structuring, post-acquisition integration and exits of multiple businesses. As the co-founder of SDAX Digital Asset Exchange, he was instrumental in its development and continues to unlock new possibilities in traditional capital and private markets as AlDigi’s Group CEO.
Prakash spearheads the development of pioneering solutions across alternative asset classes, ESG-investing, blockchain technology and Web 3.0 solutions.
Prakash graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Science, Economics. He successfully completed a blockchain strategy programme with Said Business School, University of Oxford. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
